Todd Massey (AFM Forester) has asked that we spread the word that NO cable gates are permitted on AFM or GMO managed land. Also, all authorized gates need to be painted D.O.T. safety yellow (bright canary yellow). These changes need to be made for safety reasons. Please spread the word to any others in your area with gates. Thanks for your cooperation with this matter.

On another note, I would like to remind those of you that smoke to be absolutely sure that you extinguish you cigarette butt when you are done with it. On Sunday, a group of ATVer’s found that someone had thrown a live butt up on Horseshoe MT. The picnic table and some underbrush were burning when they found it. As you know, this summer has been very dry and had this not be found, we could have had a large wildfire. PLEASE remember to completely extinguish your cigarette butts and campfires. You know what Smokey says: “Only YOU can prevent forest fires!”.
